Healing Hands Health is a faith-based ministry whose mission is to glorify Christ by providing quality, community supported care to individuals who are underserved in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Our dental program continues to grow, and this role offers the opportunity to both provide direct patient care and lead a dedicated clinical team. You will join a collaborative environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive clinical dental services to patients to prevent and treat dental disease
Serve as Dental Director, providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight to dental staff
Establish and maintain high standards for quality of care, treatment planning, and clinical protocols
Conduct chart reviews, monitor clinical productivity, and implement quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations, including Tennessee Board of Dentistry standards
Collaborate with clinic leadership to improve patient access, efficiency, and outcomes
Support and mentor dentists, hygienists, assistants, and students rotating through the clinic
Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant dental records
Contribute to strategic growth of the dental program and integration with broader clinic services
REQUIREMENTS
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
Active dental license in the State of Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
Unrestricted DEA license
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing dentist
Demonstrated leadership experience or readiness to lead a clinical team
Excellent clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based care
Strong communication, mentoring, and team collaboration skills
Proficiency with dental technology and electronic health records
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $155,000 – $175,000

Registered/Certified Medical Assistant – Part Time
Are you a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant looking to positively impact patients’ lives? We are seeking a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA) to join our dedicated care team. In this part-time role, you will be at the heart of patient care—balancing hands-on clinical responsibilities with vital administrative support to ensure every patient receives high-quality, compassionate service. Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
· Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
· Prepare patients for examinations, and obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
· Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as instructed
· Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens (e.g., blood, urine)
· Administer medications and immunizations as directed
· Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and clinical areas
· Follow infection control and safety procedures
· Required to safeguard the confidentiality of patients’ health information maintained in any form including medical records, electronic systems, oral or written communications
Administrative Duties
· Schedule patient appointments and provide back up for the Front Office Coordinator, as needed
· Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR), including patient enrollment documents
· Responsible for EHR in basket assignments
· Support care coordination and patient follow-up including referrals and scheduling imaging testing. Import all results from EPIC daily and assign to appropriate provider
· Oversee medical laboratory by stocking supplies, keeping inventory, and complete control for POCT equipment
· Assist Medical Manager with grant funded programs, and community health fair.
· Provide education and resources to patients in a respectful and clear manner
· Responsible for processing Patient Assistance Program applications, including new requests and re-enrollments
· Manage patient assistance medication inventory in the medication room
· Communicate as necessary with patients and providers regarding eligibility to receive medications
· Coordinates re-orders and refill requests of patient medications
· Produce reports by collecting and summarizing information from the pharmacy connection and electronic health records
Skills and Knowledge Required
Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Successful completion of a Medical Assisting training program from an accredited vocational institution, or community college
· Current documentation of a National Certification for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
· Clinic nursing experience, including phlebotomy skills preferred
Skills & Competencies:
· Knowledge of medical terminology and general pharmacy terminology
· Knowledge of Microsoft products, Excel experience preferred, but will train
· Ability to use electronic health record system
· Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
· Good interpersonal skills
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
Pay Range
· $16 - $19 per hour depending on experience
