BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — Following a weekend of holiday shopping, people are coming together for Giving Tuesday. The day is about people supporting their communities and gives a chance for nonprofit organizations to raise money for their cause. News 5 had the opportunity to speak with Healing Hands Health Center in Bristol, Tennessee, which is a local nonprofit that provides healthcare for the underserved members of the community.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — Healing Hands Health has kicked off its free healthcare event. For more than 20 years, ETSU Quillen College of Medicine students have been volunteering at the health center. Gia Hodges, a senior at the medical school said volunteering at these events not only help students get hands on experience, but it gives them the opportunity to give back to the community.
